I am Oskar, a DevOps Engineer and the founder of Commit Careers.

I’ve spent the last 5+ years working hands‑on as a DevOps engineer with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Before specialising in DevOps exlusively, I worked as a full‑stack developer, building backends and frontends and then deploying, automating, and monitoring them myself. That mix of engineering and DevOps means I understand the reality of the roles I now hire for, not just the keywords on a job spec.

Why we Exist

I started Commit Careers after too many bad hiring processes from the inside. I’ve sat in teams where the recruitment felt random, where colleagues arrived who clearly weren’t as experienced as their CV suggested, and where the process didn’t respect engineers’ time. I wanted a calmer, more honest way to hire for DevOps teams: clear on expectations, straight about skills, and focused on genuine fit rather than just getting a seat filled.
